Hand Injury Trauma Service Physiotherapy consists of a team of qualified and highly experienced hand therapists offering a range of pre-surgical, post-surgical and non-surgical therapies designed to reduce pain and help patients to regain movement, flexibiliity and strength.

Many people are unaware of the ways in which a hand therapist can assist in reducing pain and regaining motion, strength and function following a hand injury or in relation to a chronic problem. There are all sorts of treatments that can help - splinting, exercises and advice regarding the best way to use your hands to avoid strain, among other things. And for patients recovering from surgery, therapy is often crucial to ensure that they get the best possible outcome in the shortest possible time.
